Kissing Goodbye to MS

Kiss Goodbye to MSThe student council are delighted to announce that this year NETNS will be hosting our first ever MS fundraiser and awareness day, we are doing our part to kiss goodbye to MS. On Thursday (16th Feb) the student council are asking all members of the school community to wear something red (you can be as creative as you like) and bring in a small donation for the MS society. Some of the classes have already started decorating their classrooms in red for the day.

MS is a disease of the central nervous system which has no known cure to date. The disease causes symptoms of muscle weakness, balance and mobility problems, fatigue and sensory problems. There are over 9,000 people with MS in Ireland.

The student council are very much looking forward to speaking to a parent from our school about MS on Wednesday and sharing her story with our classmates.
