Gratitude December in Ruth’s 5th Class

This December we introduced a section to our morning routine called Gratitude December. We listened to meditations specifically made for children from the Headspace app. We explored themes such as kindness, generosity, calm and focus. After our morning meditation we wrote down 3 things that we were grateful for on that particular day. We found this exercise set up our moods for the day. It really had such a positive impact on our minds. It is also something we can apply to our lives outside of school. We will aim to focus on what we are grateful for as much as we can from this day forward.
