Enjoying the process of narrative writing

This week we are continuing to learn how to write a narrative. There’s a lot of preparation before we write fantastic narratives of our own such as writing exciting sentences containing direct speech, similes or metaphors. We enjoyed building our very own character profiles this week. Describing our main character’s personality and physical attributes led us towards visualising possible actions our characters may take in our stories.  Next week we will begin to write our stories. Our ideas so far are amazing and Ruth is really impressed with our creative ideas. We can’t wait to use everything we have learned in our own narratives.
