Easter Week in Amy’s Class

This week we continued to work at our Siopa Éadaí – fantastic effort from everybody! In Maths, we discussed symmetry and we analysed all of the symmetrical shapes in our classroom. We really got stuck into our class novel, ‘Adam’s Starling’ this week, with the children taking on the roles of Leader, Questioner, Summariser, Clarifier and Predictor. We had an absolutely wonderful Open Night on Wednesday – thanks so much to all the children and their superb efforts this term. It was great meeting all of the children’s families and friends and hearing all of your fantastic reports! On Friday we completed an Easter themed orienteering maths hunt, which was very exciting! Wishing you all a lovely and relaxing Easter break :)
