Coding Classes in Newbridge: 4th to 6th class

The Academy of Code are a group of TechEd specialists, who have a wealth of experience in delivering coding classes throughout Dublin and Kildare. Their tutors are drawn from academia and the tech industry, and in some cases both. Their bespoke curriculum is drawn from their experience in the classroom, tech industry standards and the wider contemporary digital environment.

The Newbridge classes will be drawn from the Academy of Code’s curriculum which encompasses ‘Processing (Java based language), Python, Scratch, Web Development’ and more for the advanced students”. The Academy of Code’s approach to teaching code through teacher led classes, provides a structured yet fun introduction to the subject for students.

In addition their curriculum deal’s with topics such as Internet safety, Electronics, Keyboard and Mouse skills, while also encouraging the children to develop their computational thinking, communication skills, creativity, and problem solving techniques.  This approach coupled with its’ industry standard structure and syntax provides plenty of room for students to expand their knowledge and enjoyment of coding.

Coding classes will begin in Newbridge College on Thursdays from Febuary 7th, for a 12-week term which brings us right through to the summer. Registration can be completed using this link to secure a place at Ireland’s top coding academy for kids and teenagers.


Class takes place in Newbridge College, Co. Kildare.
