Senior girls make it 4 out of 4 against St. Patrick’s N.S.

The senior girls football team had their last league game on Tuesday. They headed to Sarsfields GAA to play St. Patrick’s N.S. It was without a doubt the toughest game that they have had so far. From the very beginning, it was obvious that both teams were going to battle hard.

The girls played out of their skin all over the pitch. They supported each other until the very end and even when they were getting very tired, they never let up. St. Patrick’s put in a very tough and physical performance but we stayed ahead for the whole game and our girls made it impossible for St. Patrick’s to catch up.

We ended the game with a 5-6 to 3-4 win. The girls have won all of their league games which means we are top of our division and have secured a place in the semi-final.

I am very proud of how the girls have represented the school and of course, with their amazing performances on the pitch. I would like to congratulate them on this fantastic achievement and wish them the very best of luck in the upcoming semi-final.
