Project Fashion coming to NETNS

Project Fashion are extending their fun and skill based after school programme to Newbridge Educate Together National School.

Start date: Wednesday 6th March

Time: 3.30pm-5pm

Allow your child to pick up a new skill and unleash their creativity at our Fashion Design After School Workshops. Created and Run by Clothing Designer Paul Alexander & his highly trained Fashion Team.  If you would like your child to know how  to thread a sewing machine or produce collections to grace the runways of Paris, Milan, New York & Dublin.. Then Project Fashion is for them!

Students will learn to sew in a creative environment. They will assign a new project every one to two terms for them to enjoy making. Our machines are very easy to use, and are all the same brand, Janome, which are equipped with finger guards for safety.  New starters will learn all about sewing machine safety and basic operation and receive a Project Fashion certificate on completion of the machine training course. Once they have received this certificate, they will move onto project based work.

All new students will need bring felt in for their first class.  Four A4 size pieces of different colour felt for their mini projects will be required before they start their collections. This can be picked up in any art & craft shop.

Project Fashion look forward to meeting our NEW Young Designers in the New Year.  Classes will be aimed at students from 2nd to 6th class inclusive.  Limited places are currently still available.
