A class of paleontologists

We’ve had a super week in Junior Infants exploring the world of dinosaurs! We asked questions about them such as; ‘Why did they come to Earth?’ and ‘Where are the dinosaurs now?’.

We looked at different types of dinosaur and explored the differences between carnivores and herbivores. We talked about the important job of paleontologists and how they discover, record and collect dinosaur fossils!

We made dinosaur flip flops, cut out dinosaurs and made mala dinosaurs in the small world area.  We pretended to be paleontologists in the role play area

In Irish we looked at colours, in maths with continued to look at 0-5 and how to add and in phonics we learned all about the ‘f’ sound.
