Dia Dhaoibh Ón Ghaeltacht!

Dia Dhaoibh go léir ó Anagaire, tá an ghrian ag scoilteadh na gcloch arís inniu agus táimid ag tnúth go mór leis an lá.

Bhuaileamar bóthar ar a leath uair tar éis a naoi maidin inné agus bhí sceitimíní athais ar gach duine. Stopamar tar éís tamall i  Mhuíneachán chun ithe agus ansin leanamar ar aghaidh go dtí an “Ulster American Folk Park”. Bhaineamar an-taitneamh as sin agus ar aghaidh linn arís go Anagaire.

Shroicheamar Coláiste na Rosann ar a cúig a chlog agus láithreach bhí bhus ann chun dul go dtí na dtithe. Chuaigh na buachaillí go dtí a dteach agus na cailíní go dtí a dteach chun bhuail le Bean an Tí. Tá na dtithe go hálainn agus fuair gach duine béile breá blasta!

Ar a sé a chlog chuaigh gach duine ar ais go dtí an Choláiste agus bhí céilí iontach againn. Rinneamar “Ballaí Luimní” agus “Hop a Haon Dó” agus bhí seans againn bualadh le chairde nua sa chlós.

Bí ag féachaint ar an spás seo!

Greetings from Anagaire, it’s another beautiful day and we are all looking forward to today’s activities.

We hit the road yesterday morning at 9.30 and we were all very excited. We stopped for a while in Monaghan to eat and then we continued on to the “Ulster American Folk Park” in Omagh. We really enjoyed the tour and we headed off again for Anagaire.

We arrived at Coláiste na Rosann at 5 O’ Clock and the children were then whisked off to their houses. The girls and boys went to their respective houses to meet “Bean an Tí”. The houses are lovely and everyone ate a delicious dinner.

At 6 O’ Clock everyone  returned to the Coláiste for a céilí. We learned the dance “Hop a hAon Dó” and performed “The Walls of Limerick” too. Afterwards, we had a chance to make new friends in the yard outside.
