A Super Fun Sports Day for Senior Infants!

With the nice sunny weather out of sight, we really got lucky with a nice dry day for sports day down at the Curragh rugby club on Tuesday.

Senior infants had such a blast as they made their way through all the stations. They enjoyed activities such as; the bouncy castle, water race, the obstacle course, fun races, three legged race, egg and spoon race, sack race and cic fada.

It was great to see all the lovely healthy lunches at our class picnic and to see all the parents arriving on the day.

Also this week, the class have been revising their sounds, doing D.E.A.R time with their readers, measuring length in maths and learning all about “An Teilifís” in Gaeilge.

Huge thanks to Sarah our volunteer who helped out with the class and to all the parents who volunteered on the day at the sports day.

Also big thanks to the sports day organisers who did alot of work behind the scenes to make they day such a success.

Check out our photos of the boys and girls enjoying their sports day!
