Write a Book Competition

Congratulations to 3rd and 4th class who participated in the Write a Book Competition. We wrote stories and then made books that went to another school in Kildare. The 3rd and 4th classes in those schools selected the winners. A special congratulations to the children who received rosettes.

Inspired by Van Gogh

This week we learned all about the famous artist Vincent Van Gogh. We really enjoyed looking at and discussing some of his paintings especially “Starry Night” and “Sunflowers”. We made our own versions of these paintings and tried out Van Gogh’s technique using oil pastels.
